Don’t Miss Commencement!

1. How do I petition to graduate? You are strongly encouraged to meet with a counselor to Petition to Graduate. The deadline to petition is March 8, 2024. 如果你不能与辅导员预约, you may petition to graduate online through the Student Portal under the Academic Records tile. 然后，你的申请将由顾问审查，如果你有资格毕业，你将获得批准. 
2. Who is invited to the 2024 Commencement ceremony? 已完成副学士学位的学生 Summer 2023, Fall 2023, and Winter 2024 are invited to participate in Commencement. 将在年底完成副学士学位的学生 Spring 2024 也可以作为毕业候选人参加毕业典礼.

5. When is Commencement? The 2024 Commencement Ceremony will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 9:00am in Monarch Stadium. For more information, please visit LAVC Commencement. Tickets will be required for the event.
6. LAVC Honors:  有关荣誉徽章的信息可以在 LAVC Bookstore or Office of Student Life.
7. Other District-wide Ceremonies: 洛杉矶社区学院区(LACCD)举办了与我们的LAVC毕业典礼无关的其他全区仪式. These ceremonies include: Black Graduation, Mi Gente Graduation, Asian Pacifika Desi American Graduation, and Lavender Graduation. These events are NOT hosted at LA Valley College. Please visit the LACCD website for information on District ceremonies.
8. Diplomas:  Students who graduated in Summer 2023, Fall 2023, and Winter 2024 should already have received their diplomas. Diplomas are not distributed during Commencement. 您的毕业证书将被发送到记录的邮寄地址.
